The SRA will now go on a long pointless journey investigating something it already knows it does (discriminates against its black members) gather evidence over many months spending unnecessary money instead of looking at ways in stopping this practice from continuing and compensating the solicitors whose careers have been obliterated by this unfair practice. Any other Body or organisation behaving like them would be sued out of existence but the Solicitors Regulation Authority is teflon coated. It is a bastion of conceit. Victims do not have recourse to the Human Rights Act and having being stripped of their means of earning a living, do not have money to even try and seek compensation. As lawyers we should hate injustice but the irony is that the Regulations are being used to destroy you for no good reason other than like a grand chess master -they can. To the white members of the profession I would ask, which of you is without sin? let him throw the first stone.
