    This was undoubtedly a tragedy for the young man, his family and his employer butI have two observations to make.
    This first is that all of who undertake work in potentially dangerous situations have a primary duty of care to ones self and this obligation cannot be delegated to the employer
    My second point is to those omniscient state prosecutors who fail to make the distinction between cases like this and the deliberate neglection of duty exhibited by large companies. It seems that the distribution of justice in this country is selectively in favour of the big corporations such as Jarvis.
    This is not a good day for British justice.
